It's New Year's Eve. Obviously.

I'm glad 2008 is over, XD. Lot's of fun things happened this year...though I can't really think of them at this moment, ha. Well my art has gotten 1 % better and that's better than nothing. I think next year for sure I will at least have a portfolio done and some crap to show off.
I'm tired as hell. I had 3 hours of sleep last night and couldn't sleep. The other day my feet were feeling suddenly 7 sizes too big in my shoes and when I got home, I noticed dried blood on some of my toes. It was weird. lol. Nothing wrong with them, I don't know really where exactly it came from cos there's no cuts on my feet or anything but my toes still hurt/ache. Weird. Ugh.
I probably won't nap today either, or else I will just keep up this pattern of going to bed at 2 am and trying to force myself awake so I don't waste my day. D:

Yay! My arts came in and my friend scanned them. I like the way they look anyway, sometimes the copy machine messes them up. Lena always says they mess hers up, well they kind of do, but I think they looked good there.

Anyway I don't know when I will submit again cos I want to try to make them last. Maybe once a week. I probably will do more than that watch cos I can't wait. XD Hmm a hyde one next though. To get rid of some, I drew him a lot this time around.

I finished a new hyde art last night though. I dyed the paper myself in the bathtub. XD

I just got done reading that book, the beatles by bob spitz. It was pretty good, I think the best one about them that I've read. The ending got kind shitty though. I mean, he just summed it up kind stupidly after being detailed elsewhere. I guess he got lazy or something or was in a rush? I don't know. But the end could'be been better written. He wrote a lot about George feeling englightened or whatever, how he really found peace with that Maharishi guys stuff. I wonder what that really means? Haha I mean, he wrote it sounding pretty cool but I just don't understand how that could all be possibly anyway. He said it made him more creative and stuff, being more connected. maybe i should buy some books on meditation. lol

So i went and made the colour copies of mine and Lena's art yesterday. It added up to about 32$ (!!!) Which is a really shitty rip off if you ask me. And I am asking me. lol. Anyway it was so much because the machine was broken or something, something wrong with their ink but they wouldn't fix it cos it didn't have a 'toner low' or anything sign. So it was really stupid. I won't be going back there. We'll just have to find a better place if we ever have to make copies again (hope not, scan our own instead.) I can't send one of my graphite drawings because it just would not copy right and kept fading it around in places.

Ugh. It was a like a million mile journey to get there anyway and the bus kept leaving me XD. Like I would go to catch it and it was already leaving so I had to wait. hahaha that happened on the way there, and way back. So it took like 5 hours in total lol but i was doing other stuff too anyway. I bought candy too even though I felt like an asshole for wasting 32$. I thought it would be like 15$ like last time but I guess they were on sale last time. And I guess this time we had many more things. Still thats way too much! Shitbag place.

Anywho, the machine didn't capture the colours correctly either. So for a few I will recopy at a more expensive place, but only like 3 things, just to see if it will be better because its vital that they do not look like crap since I can't scan my own originals for now. lol.

Well its too damn cold to do anything. Seriously. Like -40 some local spots. So I can't go to the art store or anything til it gets warmer cos it sucks to be outside here longer than 5 minutes or your face will melt off. I went shopping on friday night for clothes but didn't find much, only one shirt and one pants. Money but nothing to buy. Ha. Well clothes are getting uglier by the minute around here.
Oh and I painted a nice watercolour of Hyde from the Flower PV last night. All in one 7 hour sitting rofl. Looks good.

Although Hyde is a regular Leonardo da Vinci himself, huh?

older hyde. I just liked that photo. Anyway Well I guess I will have to wait til monday to go to the art store. Ugh well thats OK anyway. Because I want to visit some museums that day too anyway, it'd be easier. I started a new charcoal drawing of hyde. I will be making copies of my art on Monday or Tuesday too. Lena has a bunch of stuff too, I think she has like 15 things LOL well maybe a little less. buts its more than me. I have seven. Will be 8 if this hyde one doesn't go to hell. The one I'm drawing is from his Faith-era, and easy picture anyway. I'm trying to copy the style of some Michelangelo drawing I saw, haha, yeah right. looooool

So right now I'm looking for more refs and stuff, a friend linked me to some nice photos of Jean Harlow up, I posted one up there. I need to draw her for someone as well so its a good coincidence, haha. Well finally I got my xmas money, haha. So I'm going to an art store. Not the really good one yet, but a different one. I will go to the better one next week I suppose. My mom also brought back more of my other art supplies/photobooks from storage so that is cool as well. Because now I at least have some more colour photos, and she also got my old pastels. And pastel paper. So i think I will try more of those. I can't wait to buy some new paper too, they're also having a sale so I'll probably empty the store XD. And clothes-shopping too, even though I don't really want any new clothes. I do want new shoes though. Well hopeeeeefullly today I guess anyway. The art shit at least, i don't know about buying new shoes or whatnot. Ugh I don't want to wait anymore though asdfdfsfasdffs.

It was really snowing on the way here today, really annoying snow. The kind that blows in your face and builds up in a small pile on top of your hat. I don't like december. I don't know whats worse, this or the summer months. Whatever. I drew a picture of hyde last night with markers. It came out looking kind of neat so I will probably have that on dA whenever I do. I finished it pretty fast too, about 3 hours. I really want more different papers, can't wait to buy some more. I want to draw with more markers but they are kind of running out, or not so much, but they're annoying to colour with and i remember now why i never use them for big projects. i'll probably try more watercolours when I get home. emphasise 'try' haha.

My new pointillism hyde one is done now for sure. I made a quick copy of it today just to see what it will look if I sent only a black & white copy instead of paying for colour ones. But it looks as good as a colour one, anyway, usually the b&w copies grainy. But not on these ones, plain ink. 8D

for some reason today, I have email spam in Italian. Rofl. Weird.

I had a dream last night that Hyde died. Haha well that sounds stupid, but it was a really scary dream. In my dream, he stabbed himself and I heard about it from a newspaper headline or something. Hahaha so when I went online today, first thing I checked was to make sure he was still alive. XD
Anywho, I started a coloured pencil drawing of hyde last night. The pointillism one is about done. Don't know if I like the cp one but I will try to finish it. I didn't really want to draw it, I just didn't have any other available refs so I had to draw that one. Theres some pics I wish I had but the old sites that had them are all gone and I never saved them. They're probably floating around somewhere though. I will print some off tonight though...maybe. Haha i really should finish that other one first, but no. thats never stopped me from starting another one at the same time. i won't be surprised if i find a better pic to draw and never go back to that one rofl.

I wish the photos from that shoot were bigger, I'd draw them. There's some from that shoot I can find bigger but not exactly the ones I want. =0 I really wish I had access to a colour printer! Blagh i hate making up the colours on my own. Its fun to do to photos on the comp, but not fun in real life.
