one hundred and twenty-one

Well tomorrow I plan to start on that commission. Haha L said I didn't have to have to done right away so no reason to rush. So I've just been doing some pointless crap for the past few days, as usual. Still working on that watercolour. I think I would have it done by now except I'm trying to do something different with it rather than the original image, which is mostly hair. Well, its still going to be a lot of hair, just not so boring lol. And hair takes a long time...at least for me in watercolour, since I like to see a lot of strands and not just a lump of colours.

lol I photoshopped Marilyn's face onto Gwen Stefani's body. I had to draw a boob on her body because she was absolutely flatchested here and Marilyn just was not. Hahaha. Anyway I thought it looked pretty cool when I was done.

one hundred and twenty

So I got another commission to work on. I guess it'll just be done with more charcoal even though I thought I was done with that, haha. Well I'm going to try and finish it up real quick because I want the money and I just want to get it outta the way pretty quickly. I was up at 4:45 this morning and will probably not nap today since I want to be able to go to bed at a normal time. Though every time I try it I end up still staying awake til like 2 a.m.
Baaaaaaaah. I also need to stop consuming sugar, seriously. I think I have too much. I feel fat lately too. I'm sure I'll probably be fat eventually if I don't stop with all the soda-ing and cookie-ing. It's really frustrating since my mum buys a lot of junk food and no one wants an alternative to soda. I don't like water but I have been drinking it more lately. I feel like I need to lose 10lbs. I don't know how though, nothing like that works for me. I guess I will just have to start eating a lot less since I don't have anywhere to exercise very fully. It's hard though, you know, when you're bored you wanna snack. I feel like lately I can't control myself very well. lol I'm feelin' the pressure.

one hundred and nineteen

Yes, I am still working on that. I guess it might be done next week or something. It's looking pretty cool so far. I still don't want to give it all away so that's just another half/small photo, haha. I don't know; it doesn't really matter though cos I'll probably be the only one really diggin' it anyway, as usual. lol I just realised taking that photo that's its going to be hard to take a good picture of it when it's done. My watercolour paper always bends/curves even if I leave it under something heavy for a long time. So I'll have to try taping the back so it lays flat or something. Although I do like the way a camera makes my art look better than a scanner. But then again the last time I scanned my actual stuff and not colour-wrong copies has been a while. But a scanner tends to get too...I don't know, sharp or something. But a cam can get not sharp enough so whatever. Haha they both have their weird things about them.

Uhm...yes. It's so boring around here. I am back active on facebook and it's at least better to actually know the people I added, haha. On myspace I forgot who all those fuckers were except for maybe 10. lol

one hundred and eight-teen

Took that photo yesterday I think. Well I've started painting again. I took a long break from it as I got really bored with it. But I've started something new and I think it's looking kinda cool so far. I don't know when it'll be done but I hope within the next few days as long as I keep working on it. But I also have some giftart to do that kinda drags me down because its just...boring. I don't know, it's always funner to do the things you want to do rather than have to do. Of course.

I worked on it a bit more today. But I don't really want to give it all away though...so here's just an unfinished clip. Still gotta work on her skin some more in particular, especially her hand. Not enough colour there! 8D

one hundred and seventeen

I colourised a b&w photo of Robert...usually I only colour the old black and white Hollywood photos but I wanted to try something different. Wasn't hard cos there wasn't much to work with there anyway.

So I got another commission to finish. It's another one of someone's kid. I'm doing this one on blue-tinted paper. I have it about 1% done, haha. I plan on working on it all day tomorrow.

I have to draw Edge for Arica. I got the paper picked out...lol well I sort of started. But I'll be working on that along with the commission. I hope to get that one done by Sunday so L can get the money from them.

Got 50$ today. Using like 20$ of it to just plain pig out on sub sammiches and cookies.
Slept like 2 hours last night. I feel tired...maybe I can go to bed at a normal time tonight.

one hundred and sixteen

I never posted any of the photographs I took from visiting a museum so I thought I should. And they link to a bigger version this time, haha. Yeah, ok, these photos definitely don't do any of them justice.

I just noticed that photo I took the crotch is kinda in your face...lol well blame the sculptor for that one. I wanted to get some other angles but other losers there kept getting in the shot and I didn't want some random bozo's in the background of any of the photos.

These two are probably my favourites I saw there that day...though there are a lot of other more impressive paintings hangin' about there. I just liked these two because they're a pair made to go together.

I don't even know how they began to capture someone in stone. I'd like to try it someday. But I say that about a lot of things...

There's a lot of different art there, from ancient Greece, European and American, Asian art, to weird modern stuff and furniture. Renoir, Picasso, Monet, Van Gogh, Rembrandt, etc but I didn't want photos of any of their stuff. lol
There was a really nice restored rare car from 1912 but for some dumbass reason I didn't take a photo. Next time.

Yeah, next time I'll take more photos. I got some others but these are the ones I liked the most.

one hundred and fifteen

Photoshop is fun. I put Marilyn's face on Natalie Wood's body, haha.

Yeah OK I got nothing better to do with my time.

Oh, I finished another commission. Yay @ $$$.

lol

one hundred and fourteen

Well the art store didn't have any tinted watercolour paper. I've seen it in books, where they bought it already tinted and didn't have to do it themselves. But apparently the store doesn't sell any. I thought they kinda had a lot of stuff there but none of that apparently. Bought a lot of just tinted drawing/pastel paper though, so I'll just use those. I guess I could tint my own watercolour paper, huh? Haha but I want just an all over smooth wash and I get bored of doing that and it might not come out all the same colour. And I'm lazy.

Done.
